The seam overlock stitch allows you to join edges with a solid seam, especially the edges of the knits or two folded edges. Can be done by sewing machine or by hand, this stitch is quick and easy to do. Below we will teach you how to make an overlock stitch by hand. 1. Overlap the folded edges right sides together. Slide the needle under the folded edge and take the needle out of the fold.
2. Poke the back of the part to be assembled a few millimeters from the edge, then bring out the needle on the part facing you, also near the edge.
3. Continue in this way all along the edge to be assembled, always stitching your two pieces of news: 739845 fabric from back to front. You will notice that close stitches provide a more solid seam.
4. To stop the thread of your seam, make two back stitches one on the other.
